Approach to Solving the Task of Backup on Machine Tools with CNC

  • Published:
Russian Engineering Research Aims and scope

Abstract

Backup of automated electrical functions in CNC machine tools is considered. Mechanisms proposed for the backup of such functions, actuators, and sensors improve the reliability of the control systems. Software is proposed for the backup of input/output modules by replacement and by voting procedures in programmable logic controllers of the AksiOMA Control CNC system.
