Determining the Minimum Number of Technological Bases in Machining

Abstract

Approaches to selecting the technological bases prior to choosing the workpiece and the machining pathways are considered. The minimum number of technological bases may be selected on the principle of equal manufacturing costs, with uniformity and compatibility of the bases.
