  • Published:
Russian Engineering Research Aims and scope

Abstract

The influence of technological competencies on the economic efficiency of advanced space technology is considered. The impact of space technology and knowledge acquired in space on the global economy is analyzed. Pressing economic problems may be solved on the basis of such knowledge. The need for objective assessment of space technologies is established, and a model is proposed to describe the economic effectiveness of space technologies and associated products and services in terms of resource constraints, provided adequate technological competencies are available.
