Russian Engineering Research Aims and scope

Abstract

The thermostability of thin-walled structures is considered by means of a thermoelasticity problem in a three-dimensional quasi-static formulation. Finite-element models of panels in the form of a circular cylinder and a plate reinforced by ribs are constructed. Numerical solutions are obtained for the stability loss of thermoelastic thin-walled reinforced structures with intense edge heating by a mobile heat source.
