Surface Roughness in Face Turning of Large-Diameter Parts

  • Published:
Russian Engineering Research Aims and scope

Abstract

The roughness in face turning of large-diameter cylindrical parts is experimentally studied. Parts made of materials that differ in machinability are turned. Recommendations are made regarding the cutting conditions that ensure the elimination of buildup in the face turning of large-diameter parts.
