Efficiency of Roller–Screw Mechanisms

Abstract

The efficiency of roller–screw mechanisms in forward motion is analyzed as a function of significant parameters. A proposal is made for the synthesis of frictionally stable roller–screw mechanisms with the required kinematic transfer function and maximum efficiency in forward motion.
