Abstract
The gas corrosion of TNM-B1 intermetallide alloy (based on titanium aluminide) at 800°C is investigated, in different gases, with different composition and structure of the corrosion layer. The time dependence of the corrosion rate is determined. At the maximum working temperature, the thermal stability of the alloy is low.
