Russian Engineering Research Aims and scope

Abstract

The influence of dressing of the abrasive tool and the table’s direction on the final surface roughness R a in deep grinding of titanium alloys by a silicon-carbide wheel is investigated. Formulas are derived by dispersional analysis of R a measurements over the length of the blank.
