Shaping of spherical surfaces on centerless superfinishing machines with longitudinal supply

Abstract

The shaping of spherical surfaces on centerless superfinishing machines with longitudinal supply is analyzed. A numerical method of shaping the rollers for such machines is considered. An example of roller-profile calculation is presented.
