Wear of a laser-surfaced steel shaft and a slip-bearing bush

Abstract

The formation and properties of coatings applied to 38XP3MA steel by laser surfacing with coaxial supply of nickel powder are considered. The wear rate and frictional coefficient for a shaft and a slip-bearing bush are determined by calculation and experiment.
