Russian Engineering Research Aims and scope

Abstract

The influence of the content of magnetic antiwear additives in MS-20 oil on the operation of the cylinder assembly in marine diesel engines is investigated. The wear rate of the cylinder-piston pair is reduced in proportion to the content of additives in the oil.
