Dynamic properties of magnetically active elastomer composites in laboratory tests

Abstract

A measuring system is proposed for studying the dynamic damping of new magnetically active elastomers. Tests show that the viscoelastic and damping properties of magnetically active elastomers may vary under the action of the magnetic field and the load.
