Optimal combinations of contact surfaces in coaxial frictional pairs

Abstract

Various combinations of surfaces in the frictional pairs of primary diesel-engine bearings are investigated by computer calculation. The parameters of the gap formed by the frictional surface are calculated, as well as the lubricant volume in the gap.
