Optimizing the cutting of low-temperature steel by simulation

  • Published:
Russian Engineering Research Aims and scope

Abstract

The influence of the cutting conditions on cutting-tool life is investigated in the machining of 10 low-temperature steel. Multifactorial models of cutting-tool life are derived. The REZMET system for automated calculation of optimal cutting conditions is developed.
