Open optimization in two-dimensional lathe control systems

Abstract

Optimization of turning in a numerically controlled lathe with open control of the cutting speed and closed control of the supply improves the operational efficiency in constantly changing conditions. An algorithm is proposed for determining the most economical cutting speed.
