Contact stress of connected axisymmetric cylindrical shells of different length in contact-pressure discontinuity zones

Abstract

Axisymmetric contact of two cylindrical shells of different length is considered. The contact-stress distribution in local discontinuity zones is investigated. Regulation of contact and breakaway zones is analyzed.
