Stress state in pipe on flexure with internal shaping

  • Published:
Russian Engineering Research Aims and scope

Abstract

An improved production method for curved pipeline sections is proposed, on the basis of cold bending with internal shaping. The best configuration of deforming elements within the pipe is determined, so as to minimize flexure and enhance the precision of the final product.
