Life of parts in pulsed machines

Russian Engineering Research Aims and scope

Abstract

An approach to estimating the life of components in pulsed machines is proposed. This approach is based on the corrected linear hypothesis of fatigue-damage accumulation and on schematization of the nonsteady irregular loading processes obtained by computer simulation (by the finite-element method).
