  • Published:
Russian Engineering Research Aims and scope

Abstract

The power characteristics of highly coercive permanent magnets (barium-oxide and rare-earth alloy magnets) used in magnetic clutches are compared. By using different permanent magnets, clutches of the same size that produce different torques may be obtained.
