Russian Engineering Research Aims and scope

Abstract

The results of experimental investigations of lifetime tests of cylindrical gears with involute profile and of the slide bearings made of the structural steels during its operation in lead medium are presented. It has been examined how the performances of lead coolant, conditions of gear operation, materials, and gear structure influence on to gear operation ability. It has been verified that the gears can operate in lead medium.
