Boosting the performance of internal combustion engines

Russian Engineering Research Aims and scope

Abstract

The possibility of boosting the performance of internal combustion engines is considered. The way in which the pressure values in the cylinder interact with the ratio of the force on the piston and the tangential force on the driveshaft is analyzed. The proposed motor design ensures that this ratio is equal to one over the whole piston path and eliminates variable lateral force in the cylinder-piston pair.
