Abstract

Additional phenomena related to the tooth structures of both the stator and the rotor are considered under the assumption that the amplitudes of the corresponding tooth inductions are known. The details and results of the effects of these inductions on the stator and rotor windings are analyzed. Analytical expressions for the evaluation of these effects in the case of variations in the tooth divisions of the stator and rotor cores are proposed. The expected currents in the rods of the damper winding and the EMF of the stator winding of a specific powerful single-pole synchronous machine are calculated.
