Abstract

An approach to designing traction power supply facilities using a digital model is considered. The advantages of the proposed model are considered on the example of the study of dynamic modes of operation of the Noginsk traction substation of two types of current, which is an important part of the traction power supply system of the HSR project “Moscow–Kazan.” Peculiarities were revealed that should be taken into account when designing combined ac/dc traction substations. The mathematical design model of unbalanced steady-stated mode taking into account the ac/dc system is considered. The problems of evaluating the quality of traction electric power supply and of choosing the electrical equipment of traction substation are considered as an example of using the digital model of traction power supply system. The advantages of a unified digital model as a digital twin of the traction power supply system are shown.
