Abstract

This paper presents some results of research and development related to the creation of a new generation of special heat-resistant power cables—in particular, extension cables for power submersible electric oil pumps. For the first time, we removed the protection of fluoroplastic insulation of a core by protective lead sheaths, which led to a decrease in the size and mass of cables and improved the reliability of the entire oilproducing complex.
