Abstract

The structural scheme of multilevel transistor frequency converter with high-voltage cells for the smooth start and controlling rate of asynchronous and synchronous motors of up to 5000 kW power. The application of the main components of frequency-current controlling system is described. The frequency converter is made with integrated high-voltage rectifier-inverter cells and its phase includes two cells connected in series at a power voltage of 6 kV and, for a power voltage of 10 kV, there are four cells.
