Abstract

The method for revealing single-phase earth faults based on controlling the admittance of the zero-sequence circuit is considered. The key theoretical statements are given. An improved measurement algorithm and protection actuation characteristics are proposed. The effectiveness of the proposed solutions is verified by the results of investigations aimed at analyzing the efficiency of the method based on the calculation model and real distribution network.
