Abstract

The main advantages of asynchronized turbogenerators (ASTGs) in comparison with traditional synchronous turbogenerators are formulated. Means of generating a field control system for ASTGs that allows one to implement these advantages is presented. The basic requirements for the field system of ASTG are given.
