Abstract

Questions of how the regimes of controlled start of asynchronous motors influence losses in a motor and supply mains are considered. A comparative estimate of these factors are made when using thyristor voltage converter-asynchronous motor (TVC-AM) and frequency converter-asynchronous motor (FC-AM) systems.
