LIAZ 5292XX city bus with a combined power plant: General characteristics

Abstract

The main specifications of a LIAZ 5292XX hybrid city bus are considered. Hybrid vehicles are efficient in the case of a varying or partial load, which is characteristic for the majority of typical drive cycles. The use of hybrid power plants allows one to lower both the level of hazardous exhaust and fuel consumption in stop-and-go city traffic situations.
