Combinations of switch states and analysis of electromagnetic processes in multilevel converters

Abstract

A technique for analyzing electromagnetic processes using combinations of switch states in a multilevel converter is suggested. The influence of the imbalance of instantaneous voltages of dc section’s capacitors on the harmonic distortion of a phase current is analyzed.
