Determination of main electromagnetic parameters of position sensor

Abstract

To determine the main electromagnetic parameters of the position sensor with a solid magnetic conductor, the magnetic field is investigated taking into account the surface effect in the magnetic conductor. Analytical expressions are derived for the magnetic field intensity and the magnetic flux, which allows one to determine the mutual and self-inductions, as well as resonant frequencies of the oscillation circuit of self-excited LC-oscillator and other necessary characteristics of the sensor.
