Application of voltage-supply inverter with pulse-width modulation for control of actuating inductance motor

Abstract

The possibility of using a three-phase voltage-supply inverter (VSI) with pulse-width modulation (PWM) to form two-phase voltage is analyzed with a reference to the actuating induction motor (AIM) control. The VSI control algorithms that realize methods of the AIM speed control are described. Results of the harmonic analysis of the VSI output voltage and its power supply characteristics are given, as well as the computer simulation results.
