Network conditioners on the basis of active filters

Abstract

A novel control scheme for the stabilization of load voltage and the compensation for high harmonics of load current in series-type active power filter systems combined with shunt-type active power filters is proposed. The control system allows an effective correction of power factor, harmonic distortion, and load voltage regulation.
