Abstract

The role of agrochemical and agrophysical factors in the formation of efficient fertility of drained soils is numerically compared using comprehensive indexes of their agrochemical and agrophysical cultivation. It is found that the agrochemical cultivation indexes do not fully capture the fertility efficiency of these soils. The test yield of field crops was directly related to the agrophysical condition of the soils. While the physical index changed from 0.36 to 0.71, the average crop yield of parsley, oats, and potato increased for nine years by 1.01, 0.81, and 7.3 t/ha, respectively. In wet years, the increment was by 2.5, 2.12, and 11.5 t/ha, respectively.
