Application of mean centering spectra spectrophotometric method for simultaneous determination of salisylic acid and benzoic acid in fruit joice samples

Abstract

A simple mean centering of ratio spectra method was developed for the simultaneous determination salisylic acid and benzoic acid without prior separation steps. The mathematical explanation of the procedure is illustrated. The procedure is successfully applied to the simultaneous determination of these analytes in fruit joice samples.
