Abstract
The results of monitoring the spread and harmfulness of the buckwheat weevil in Primorskii krai are given. It is established that, under the conditions of the krai, the optimal buckwheat sowing time is from June 20 to July 1 and the best forecrop is long-use perennial grasses, which provide maximum yield and reduction of plant damage from this pest.
