Abstract
The existing means of mechanizing the grain drying process are analyzed and their main short-comings are revealed. The proposed new devices for drying grain make it possible to reduce expenditures of energy on the given process while providing the necessary quality of the finished product and fulfilling environmental safety of the process. The method and results of investigations of the grain drying process in the proposed devices are given and the efficiency from introducing the proposed means of mechanization into the postharvest grain process production cycle is calculated.
