Abstract

An increase of live weight, milk production, piglet birth weight, and litter weight of sows that received a ration with the addition of trace element compounds with ethylenediaminedisuccinic and methionine succinic acids is established. The live weight and survival of piglets produced from these animals were higher than those of the control animals. Subsequently, 21 days later the sows came into heat, were inseminated, and farrowed. Two sows in the control group didn’t become impregnated.
