Abstract
Protein polymorphism is studied in different cucumber genotypes and its relation to the yield level of hybrids is revealed. Increased potential heterogeneity of experimental hybrids H273, H274, and H275 as compared to released and low-yielding hybrids is determined, and the interrelation between the level of combining ability and inheritance of certain polypeptides is also shown.
