Abstract

The paper is devoted to studying the influence of the geometric shape of a ball-bearing raceway on its operability. It is shown that, if the raceway of the inner ring has the type of form described by a fourth-order curve, it is possible to increase the operating life of the bearing by more than twofold, as well as increase its speed rotation and greatly reduce the friction torque and its vibration.
