Abstract
The flotation of coking coal after treatment of the coal pulp by microbubbles is investigated. Differential granulometric analysis indicates that, when using air microbubbles, the flotation of small coal particles (<50 μm) predominates. The effectiveness of flotation of small coal fractions (<0.1 mm) by microbubbles, without reagent, is comparable with that attained when using traditional apolar and complex reagents.
