Potential applications of Ural coal

Abstract

The prospects for replacing Kuznets Basin coal with local Sverdlovsk coal at Ural steel plants are considered. The coal characteristics are analyzed. Detailed prospecting is required to refine the rank assignment, ease of enrichment, and reserves of Sverdlovsk coal.
