Abstract
The possibility of reduction of electron beam emittance in the storage ring of “CANDLE” synchrotron radiation source with the help of wiggler magnets arranged in free rectilinear sections of the magnetic structure of accelerator was investigated. Using the particle track the dynamic aperture of nonlinear oscillations in the accelerator caused by wigglers is calculated and an optimal configuration for essential compression of the horizontal emittance of the beam is proposed.
