Features of the charged particles acceleration in a standing laser wave field

Abstract

We consider the peculiarities of interaction of charged particles with a standing laser wave field. Conditions under which they can be optimally accelerated are found. It is shown that if ultrahigh-Q optical resonators are used, their energy gain can reach several GeV.
