Journal of Contemporary Physics (Armenian Academy of Sciences) Aims and scope

Abstract

A transfer-matrix for the multichannel scattering problem is obtained. The elements of this matrix are expressed in terms of transmission and reflection amplitudes. On the basis of the matrix for a system of N localized and nonoverlapped scattering centers the recurrent equations for the transfermatrix elements are derived and the initial conditions are defined.
