Abstract
Dynamics of dislocation kink affected by external constant and variable forces in the pinning potential is considered for studying the point defects role in dislocation motion by the Peierls mechanism. Within the framework of perturbation theory, the linearization of equations of motion of the kink results in the linear oscillation equation for the kink velocity.
