Media with nonclassical form of the surfaces of wave vectors of classical optics

Abstract

The forms of surfaces of wave vectors (SWVs) of the known media are considered and the systematization of them by the form of SWVs is made. Characteristic features of optical properties of the media caused by the new forms of SWVs are indicated.
