Abstract

The effect that the construction features of a gauge and the location of a die relative to the line connecting the roller centers have on the parameters of extrolling is studied. The region for the process feasibility is established, the power-efficient modes of deformation are determined, and a rational layout for the deformation assembly is recommended. The possibility of controlling the supplied power while extrolling is shown.
