Abstract
An effective method for the magnetovibrational separation of metal-containing slimes based on the effect that the magnetic-field has on the dispersed medium, namely, the constant and nonuniform variable fields with mutually perpendicular force lines, is investigated. For the highest efficiency in separating nonmagnetic inclusions, it is necessary to select the modes of electrostatic influence that provide the creation of a stable fluidizated layer from the powder with the maximal destruction of aggregates at the first stage and the resonant vibration of the formed magnetic chains at the second.
