Phased Antenna Array with a Digital Scheme for Forming Patterns of Multi-Beam Radiation

Abstract

A digital scheme is proposed for forming patterns of multi-beam radiation for the next generation of wireless communication systems. The parameters and structure of the flat antenna array ensure isolation of at least 15 dB between ports. Experimental measurements of the radiation characteristics are made for a pattern of multi-beam radiation with a tunable digital scheme for forming beams in the horizontal and vertical planes.
